Busy Weekend!

We had such a fun weekend, but boy were we busy! Olive and I spent Friday with Molly and Auntie D at the Affair of the Heart. It was Molly's birthday, so we loved spending it with her. And it is every 2 year old's dream to spend the day at Affair of the Heart. :) Then Friday night, Olive and Daddy got to spend some special time together while Mommy went to a meeting. Bright and early Saturday morning, Olive and I set out for the Junior League of Norman's Monster Dash. Auntie Traci was the chair, so we had to get out and support her. Olive wore her costume and we did the 1 mile fun run. She even got a "finisher" ribbon. Her first blue ribbon! During the costume contest, the judges must have made a mistake because she didn't win for her division. But, Sebastian the crab was really precious and was a great winner.

Olive is ready for the race in her "olive" costume.

After the monster dash, we came home and relaxed a little before we headed out to the Balkman's Halloween Bash. They are so awesome to have this every year and to invite us. They have all of the cars park in a big circle to do trunk or treat and all of the kids go from car to car getting candy. Deanna and I set out with the girls going from car to car and Stephen and Adrian stayed at our car to pass out candy. There were so many kids, that they ran out of candy after about 10 minutes, so they joined us to finish.

Molly is ready to trunk or treat!
After trunk or treat, we all headed up to the house for an outdoor dance. Olive and Molly enjoyed dancing to "Thriller"! Here are a few more pics from the party:

Sunday evening we went to the fall festival at church. Honey, Dano and Granny joined us for the festival and then came over for supper.

Then Rick, Auntie Misty and Eleanor stopped by to see us on their way out of town. We were so excited to see them! We hadn't seen them since Olive was born. We just hate that they live in Texas, so we get really excited when they come to town. That was a great way to end our weekend of fun. Here is a picture of Olive and Eleanor. Eleanor is 6 weeks older than Olive.

We are all a little tired after all of that fun, but looking forward to a great week ahead!
