Farm Faces

I got Olive the cutest little book "Farm Faces". It is a book of masks and she loves to play peek-a-boo when we read it. I love watching her try to see out of the eye holes!

Playtime at the Park

Yesterday evening it had cooled down a little, well, it had gotten in the 90's, so we decided to go on a little bike ride to the park. Olive LOVES the park! She had so much fun climbing around on the toys and going down the slide with both of us.

"Watch me climb, Daddy!"

"Wwwwwwwwhhhhhhheeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

She even went down the little slide by herself!

Then she and Daddy decided to go down the tube slide. I loved her sweet little face peeking out of the holes in the slide!

I think the tongue out is her way of saying "thanks!"

Play, Play, Play!

Molly and Auntie D came over to play this morning! Molly brought her special splash pad for us to play with. The hit of the day was the "squirty ketchup and mustard bottles". Everyone should own several sets!

Wrigley Turns 3!

Our sweet Wrigley Lou turned 3 today! It seems like she has been a part of our lives forever. She is such a great dog, a little quirky, but overall really wonderful. Today was all about her! I made her favorite cake...peanut butter dog cake!

And we invited her best friend Gipper down for her "party".

Olive's First Haircut

Olive has had this one crazy long piece of hair in the back that kind of had a mind of it's own, so this weekend Honey gave Olive her first haircut! Here she is getting ready.

The family of papparazzi was a little distracting, so I had to hold her.

Happy Father's Day!

Olive is a very lucky little girl to have such a great Daddy! The day she was born, she was having some breathing problems and had to be taken to the nursery almost immediately. We were only able to hold her for a few minutes. I remember as they were wheeling her out, Stephen was standing in the middle of the room and he looked at me and said "Who do I go with?" I was very sick, but of course, I told him to go with her. He was able to stay with her while they messed with her and then gave her a bath. He could just talk in her ear and it instantly calmed her down. It still works to this day! She is daddy's little girl!

She is a little bigger now, but she still thinks her Daddy hung the moon! When he walks into the room, she totally freaks out. It is the sweetest greeting in the whole world.

"Here Daddy, I got you a card."

"And I got you a new patio umbrella too!"
